Another Christmas has come and gone and we are still praising our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Granted He probably wasn't born Dec. 25(probably in the spring or fall) but seeing as we don't know exactly when, any date will do. If you notice out our window, you won't see any snow.
This a picture of one of our chickens who we have named "Freedom". The other chickens were tormenting him/her relentlessly for reasons known only unto them. I'm sure they would have killed him/her if I hadn't allowed him/her to stay outside the chicken house. It is now a loner and doesn't ever mix with the flock but roosts on the gate to the chicken coop at night. I think the others are just jealous of all the nice feathers. If it was me i would be hiking down the road if I was treated like that. It looks to me like a hen but it occasionally crows like a rooster. Probably a rooster as I haven't seen it trying to lay eggs. Strange!
Happy New Year to everyone who stops by!! This is a picture of me re-glazing the old windows. An almost forgotten art!!

Month by month
They sure have some nice sunsets and sunrises around here. And moonrises!!
Well I can't believe a month has gone by and I have had nothing to say. guess I've been too busy. We went into Fredericksburg 2 days before Christmas about 23 miles from here and had a nice day just touring the shops. There was one shop that sold all sorts or jams and sauces and fudge. After that one we didn't need to have lunch as they had so many samples we stuffed ourselves.
