Life on the ranch
Greetings to all from us on the ranch
I think this is the guy/girl that was trying to get into the hen house. You can see the claws on his front left foot. He has since been relocated.
I think they are just admiring my truck and wondering "How many horsepower?"
This is pretty much a regular happening since Wendy started feeding them pieces of sweet potatoe. Walmart had them on sale at 10 cents a pound.
I think they would come in if you invited them in.
He's a big bruiser but quite gentle.
Home fertilizer delivery!!
The porch is a lovely place to go for an afternoon coffee.
Is this RV spot taken??

Back in Texas
These pictures are all in the wrong order. Longhorn is in Texas just behind the the RV. Night shot of setting sun is Kansas. Pie is in marble Falls, Tx. Shed is in Lincoln.
Where has the time gone? Month and a half since my last post!! Nice leisurely drive down to Nebraska. Tails winds most of the way. No problems. Installed garage door opener at my sister-in-law's plus fixed and painted shed. Such a good do-be!
Oh, we stopped in Kansas and enjoyed Lindsborg again. We had stopped there on the way North in the spring.
Then on down to Texas when we saw the cooler weather coming south. Stopped in at the Blue Bonnet Cafe and had some mile high lemon meringue pie and coffee. Oh so good!
Then on to the ranch at Harper, Tx. Longhorns, horses, goats and chickens. Lots of deer hunting going on.Young girl got an 8 point buck yesterday. Quite excited I guess.
Things are pretty quiet on the ranch. Mostly just little maintenance jobs and a little painting. I'm sure we can handle it. Bye for now. K&W
